Mailing list members are persons that have signed up for a specific list to receive periodic emails, including weekly newsletters. If the software application that is used to administer the mailing list permits it, you can also include mailing list members manually, but in this case such email messages may be regarded as unsolicited and reported as spam by the users. Generally, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking on a link in the emails they receive, or you, being the mailing list admin, can remove them manually in case they request this or if you decide that some of the mailing list members should not be part of the list anymore. Each member will be able to see only their email address in the "To" field of the messages they receive, but not the addresses of the remaining members of the mailing list.
Mailing List Members in Cloud Hosting
If you have a Linux cloud hosting with our company and you set up a mailing list, you will be able to manage the mailing list members without effort. You don’t even need to sign into your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, as you can do everything via email from any location. By sending emails with certain commands to majordomo@yourdomain.com, you’ll gain access to an abundance of options offered by our popular Majordomo application. You can view a full list of all active members, or if needed – you can add/delete members. If you include a new email address, the user in question will get a notification and will have to confirm that they wish to be added to the mailing list. Deleting a user is also really easy – you’ll only have to send an email message to the administrator address associated with the particular mailing list.
Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get a semi-dedicated server through our company and you set up electronic mailing lists via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you will be able to manage all your subscribers without any effort. We offer one of the most widely used mailing list client programs called Majordomo. It will permit you to see all your subscribers, to authorize new or to delete existing ones by sending an email to the mailing list’s admin email address, so you can manage everything without even needing to log into your Control Panel. Of course, only you, being the mailing list administrator, will be able to accomplish that. New subscribers will need to confirm their subscription, so the email messages that you send will be authorized and you will not have to worry about messages being reported as spam. We also have a selection of instructional articles where you can discover more information about how to administer the mailing list itself.
